No Way Back
WASHINGTON – With the same “experts” and pundits and angry legislators rattling their little sabres and beating the drums of war, it looks like we’re going in again. Using the exact same fucking bullshit phrase, “There is no doubt,” we are headed for an inevitable clash with Bashar AL-ASSHAT. Somehow, killing people with poison gas is worse than killing them with bombs and bullets. There is very little likelihood that we will deter AL-ASSHAT from killing his own people. But there is a very high likelihood that we will cause collateral civilian deaths and foment Anti-American sentiment. And, it looks like there is no turning back. Sometimes, being the world’s policemen just plain sucks.
